Carrier oils or “base oils”. They are the essential oils that are used to safely carry oils into our skin and are obtained from different plants, seeds, nuts, and kernels. Carrier oils help dilute essential oils safely onto our skin, and they carry their own benefits. They are rich in minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins that protect, hydrate, and nourish your skin. Some oils, like Almond and Grapeseed oil, are great for the whole body. Others, like Argan and Rosehip, are best for face application because they won’t clog pores (comedogenic carrier oil). 
Essential oils are highly concentrated aromatic compounds that are steam distilled using various parts of the plant, which can include the flower, root, leaf, or fruit. Some essential oils, such as Eucalyptus and Bergamot. Essential oils are a concentrate and must be properly diluted before application on the skin and are not meant to be applied directly to the skin. 
Ready-to-use oils are the combined base oils with essential oils that have been properly diluted and give you the benefits of both worlds. And some can be used as a multi-use product for skin and hair care.
